StartUp Weekend is an entrepreneurial event where, throughout a weekend, participants learn how to develop a business idea by using a hands-on validation method. .

Held in over 130 cities around the world, StartUp Weekend participants develop an idea, validate their business model and produce a minimum viable product.

 

Centro para Emprendedores has hosted more than 40 StartUp Weekends in Puerto Rico. In view of the experiences gained and Puerto Rico’s new reality, we have decided to use StartUp Weekends as part of our strategy to encourage the creation of innovative businesses in the Island.
